Welcome! My name is Sunaina Schultz. I hold an MBA in market research and a PhD in consumer behavior, both from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Applying expert research methods to address real-world problems is my passion - whether as a clinical coordinator developing HIV/AIDS prevention programs or while leading brand strategy and innovation insights efforts at General Mills. Currently, I am the founder and managing director of the research consultancy, Grounded Insights LLC.


My academic work has been published in the Journal of Consumer Research,
and I have presented my work at conferences including the Association
​for Consumer Research, Transformative Consumer Research, and Consumer
Culture Theory. This research examines how broad social change movements impact the marketplace.
